I'd like to remind you it was Obama who suspended habeus corpus and failed to roll back any of Bush's absurd "Patriot Act" nonsense; in fact he instituted a drone murder program that killed mostly civilians and even 'Murican citizens. Biden tried to set up a 'Ministry of Truth' to monitor (and no doubt take actions to "combat") online "mis/disinformation" and only scrapped it when the director was exposed as a nutjob and public outcry was impossible to ignore.

And that's just off the top of my head.

Don't get me wrong: name-calling and derision can be fun but in the realm of sociopolitical issues they're counterproductive and a monumental waste of time/energy. I'd rather not.

I think that some people here do that when they realize that they have lost the argument. This happened a few weeks ago when I explained some statistics to @Lily that she was not understanding fully.

With Blandy, I think he might not realize that he lost the argument. I think he is so brain-damaged that he cannot follow a line of reasoning. I know it seems that I am slipping into his sort of name-calling, but I am dead serious. His mind is mush from years of excessive drug use.

Oh my dear faux friend Jim, after all these years if you do not see the value of your own stock on these sites, then it is hardly surprising to me - nor indeed, can that be construed as anyone else’s fault.

In fact everything I've predicted for decades is happening now and it fucking sucks.

It's neither my responsibility nor my "mission" to change hearts and minds. You lot will have to figure this shit out for yourselves just like the rest of us. Thinking you need a "savior" or a "guru" to put you on the right path is a problem, not a virtue. But that's also one of those things you need to figure out for yourself I reckon.
