Michael Peterson was so ahead of his time and everyone in the early 70’s, his style and grace is what one would expect from surfers today with modern equipment. If you ever get a chance, read this book by Sean Doherty, you’ll love it.

The first time I saw The Wedge was a segment in a movie called Playgrounds In Paradise. What a serious shorebreak! I nearly broke my back in a similar break back in South Africa. Gotta respect the ocean...

Did you see the documentary where turtles have come back instinctively during breeding seasonto lay eggs at particular beaches due to the absence of people due to Covid? But in other instances the poachers are able to also make a quick buck...
