An overview of Mavericks going off. The marina in the foreground. A half mile south is the Princeton break water. Another fun break, that lines up along the break water. Used to be a favorite that would many times sheltered from the wind.

The first time I saw The Wedge was a segment in a movie called Playgrounds In Paradise. What a serious shorebreak! I nearly broke my back in a similar break back in South Africa. Gotta respect the ocean...

Did you see the documentary where turtles have come back instinctively during breeding seasonto lay eggs at particular beaches due to the absence of people due to Covid? But in other instances the poachers are able to also make a quick buck...

During the rainy season, ya need to be on the look out for these fuckers. They look like drift wood in the line up. They like to thing the dog populations here.
