This is suggesting wearing masks protects the wearer against catching Covid.....which is completely fucking false. There are a plethora of reasons why a child hasnt caught a symptomatic case of covid.....wearing a mask will NEVER be one of them.
Every single body of "experts" from the CDC, to Fauci himself....even right on the box of masks are CLEAR on this. The purpose of masks is mitigation. It's to stop YOUR droplets from infecting others.....it does NOT provide you with protection. You need an N95 for that.
Also I'm talking about actual medical masks....not that stupid cloth shit everyone is wearing and contaminating. That isnt doing anything but holding microbes and viruses up against your face. If cloth masks worked? Doctors and nurses would use them.

Yeah, that's not honest either. While it's true health care workers (Hi, how ya doing) wear masks SOMETIMES for extended periods of time, there are ppe protocols we all must abide in order for the ppe to be most effective. You need to use a disposable mask, you cannot touch it(this makes it contaminated, and you dont wear contaminated ppe), and you have to change it out after 30 minutes.
You NEVER walk out of a patients room with the same fucking mask on, you have to remove it BEFORE stepping out of the room and toss it. You would NEVER walk around in the same mask for hours going from room to room.
The CDC told you idiots to wear cloth because they had to tell people something and real masks were needed for front line medical professionals. What does THAT tell you? There is absolutely NO comparison between how ppe is used in hospitals and the gross stupidity all of you are obsessed with.
The reason elementary students shouldnt be wearing masks is because they cannot do it properly. Forcing them to wear the same mask all day is going put them at a higher risk of getting sick from everything.....which is exactly what we saw happen, isnt it? Kids are getting RSV, fucking Hand/Foot and Mouth.
You want children to wear a germ trap over their face that they are going to be touching with germy hands, trading with other kids, grabbing it to pull it down. It isnt going to do what the masks are supposed to do.
And as usual, instead of addressing the ACTUAL fucking VALID issues, in true leftard form, you zero in on fringe bad arguments that have good sounding(but deceptive) answers and pretend like that's all there is to it and you ignore the valid arguments all together.
You guys just demand whatever the government says with no fucking thought or consider for the cost whatsoever and when it's time to pay the price you just ignore it because you just dont give a single fuck. The whole world must revolve around YOU....YOU...and more YOU and you get to make irresponsible and dangerous decisions for other peoples kids because of your stupid partisan bullshit.
