Hm. Interesting. I would say you have either an open hostility to Tomato's or a fear of blood. And you don't like needles. Or doctors. Authority figures bother you.
Yes it's becoming clear.

Actually, it's sugar I have a problem with. Ketchup is loaded to the hilt with it. Why ruin the flavour of the food you're eating by pouring sugar concentrates all over it? Unless, you're 5 years old....

However, most doctors are still in the dark ages and most authorities are full of shit.

As for blood, I've attended to myself in severe wounds because those around me went into shock and were rendered useless. I was in shock too.... just not enough to lose my mind.

Tomato's naturally have sugar. You can get ketchup with no sugar added. Tastes fine.
You suffer from PTSD? What disaster
befell you and your friends? A catastrophic couch failure??

Almost every vegetable or fruit has some naturally occurring sugars, no matter how miniscule... but adding to it so you can taste the cane farm? Fuck off....

Millie hit the nail on the head when Adam Pontipee (in the boarding house she was cooking for) asked, "got any ketchup handy?" as she was laying out her food on his plate... she said, "my stew can stand on its own two legs"....

...he tasted it, nodded, then hoed into it.

Ketchup was traditionally used to make unpalatable meals easier to swallow. It was function...not flavour.

Likewise, hard liquor was added to water in the old days to not give one the shits...

...and up until the mid 90's, American born kids of Mexican descent had family reunions south of the border and came back with mouth ulcers from drinking too much soft drink because their parents insisted they never drink the tap water.

Form, flavour, and function.

Most of people's culinary customs have no basis in reality... or that reality has long since expired, but it becomes tradition.

Like breakfast cereals...

Frood, you have a most interesting belief system. Many questions I've had for years have been answered in your post. Mexican children with mouth sores from drinking soda. Fantastic observation. Of course there's no truth to it, but never let the facts get in the way of a good story I always say.

Doctor Yogi: Diagnostician to the wretched refuse of the internet!

Yeah. Smells like a franchise. Ka-ching!
You think I just started doing this? I've been using my skills at diagnosis to propel myself in this medium for a very long time.

I went to school with Mexican American kids who all complained about their mouth ulcers after a trip down south of the border. It wasn't the water.... it was how they were barred from DRINKING the local municipal water by their parents. They only got soft drink....and pricey water bottles for teeth brushing at the time.

The parents remembered their youth and applied it to their kids. There was no basis in science for it....not after the 70's or early 80's.

The same for rubbish bins right next to the toilet... that's a throwback for when toilet tissue could block rudimentary sanitation networks. Not the case anymore, but the bins full of arse whipes still persist....and the signage warning about flushing TP.

Move out of Connect-a-cunt and live a little, Yogi...

I see. So it's the softdrinks that caused these alleged mouth ulcers. I must assume they drank 'soda' up in the states as well. What exactly was wrong with the soda? Overcarbonation? That causes carbonic acid. Maybe a fruit soda with too much Vitamin C? Did these ulcers cause infections? There is usually a basis in science for most things. Do you not believe in science?

I fail to see the connection between rubbish bins/waste baskets, buttwipes and soda causing ulcers. This requires more elaboration.

I am thinking you may have some acute paranoid delusions. Aren't you the guy who hoards toilet paper and bad dried food for the apocalypse?

Also don't worry about Connecticut. It is my professional opinion you have enough to consider about mental health than to consume yourself with the wonderful state I live in. You need not visit. Problem solved. That is my first absolute solution for you.

There is indeed more work to be done, however. I foresee your path to mental wellness might be a long, winding, rugged one. More like a logging trail than a path. Pitfalls will be common. I do think you will come through it assuming you have the fortitude to do so.

Perhaps you should discuss your earliest memories of your parents? Let's start from the beginning-

What exactly was wrong with the soda?

If not properly diluted you'd essentially be drinking battery acid.

Have you ever seen the canisters fountain sodas are stored in?
They've got more hazard and warning labels than a barrel of Fukushima waste water.

Personally I'm not a big soda drinker. I like 4C iced tea.
Most soda concentrate comes in a plastic bag in a box nowadays btw. I've seen such things.
Lots of concentrates are harmful.
Easy answer to such problems is not to consume them or handle without protective precautions.
