Nope, it just puts me to sleep. I have a cocktail once in a while and cocktails on special occasions. I don't enjoy the idea of being a zombie or out of my head.

My cousin had one, Duke was the cutest freaking monster ever. He was a 150+ lb puppy. He'd put his massive head in your lap and paws up as well...lol

In my lifetime, and in my extended families, we've had Australian Cattle dogs, German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Beagle, French bulldog, Rottweilers, Mastiff, and my mom and stepdad & in-laws had Chihuahuas.

All good dogs, great dogs even. Bijoux, our Frenchie was sort of the goofy meathead dog...she was a sweetie. She might have been my favorite.

Yes. I'll probably go the Golden Retriever route though, since some dogs in my rural area sort of roam free, as many yards aren't fenced. There are no by-laws here restricting unleashed dogs. That way I won't have to worry if my dog runs up to my neighbour or people walking down the steet... Golden Retrievers are pretty much always friendly with everyone, even people that are strange to them also.

I don't want to be responsible for my pet attacking a person or another dog, so Golden Retriever is probably the solid route to go. They are the White people of the canine breed!
