you need clean water - and cigarette lighters to light fire - a good tooth brush - and some soap - and a change of underwear - insect repellent - a decent pillow.

A good knife will come in handy... maybe a screwdriver...food? Pack nuts, dried friut and potato chips, instant potato. And for canned goods, maybe rice-cream, tinned fish, and spam.

A pack needs to be replenished from time to time...

So a bug net takes precedence over bug spray.

Seeds over tinned goods.

Flints over matches or cig lighters.

Pillows are a luxury when travelling light but a stuff sack full of your limited clothes works well.

People over pack and stress their backs trying to cart around unnecessary creature comforts and other shit.

My house burned down.... pillows is the most import item on that list....lol

Like Venezuela they will walk into it like the Pied Piper leading the rats to their doom. Only after everything goes to hell will reality dawn on them.

Also, most of Brazil's farm land is pretty marginal without industrial inputs to enable large yields. Yet globally it is exactly those inputs which are in shortage. The same applies to much of Africa and tropical Asia. That is a lot of food in danger of not getting grown without those inputs. Yet the WEF is pushing the idea that we need to eliminate fertilizers and pesticides "to save the planet"; theor end goal seems to be to starve people to death which would result in desperate people destroying the environment.

like the illegal Afrians burned all the olive trees in Greece (or Italy) that were 100s or a thousand years old.... The locals were mortified. They should have protected the olive trees by shooting the illegal aliens.

Senseless vandalism and destruction of natural resources. They’re their own worst enemy in so many cases. Build them a school or build them a clinic…and they just want to burn it down. Many immigrants need to be processed so government may deem them fit to be allowed into society. They see this as imprisonment or enslavement.

As cruel as it may seem, their boats need to be turned around and sent back to whence they came…

Water storage is a bit of an issue. So is watering the garden without paying the highest water rates in the entire fucking country. A well really isn't feasible given the geography and geology of where I live though maybe maybe some home water recycling system might work?

I dont know your local but maybe water butts to collect rain water of the roof? Other reclaimation methods may also be worth looking into. I think barring something weird happening water supply will be the last to go, a lot will/would be dead by then if your thinking apocalyptic.

Rain water collection would help but we are in a drought, our governor seems hell bent on blocking most water storage or increases to supply, so grey water or some sort of recycling soapy water seems the most realistic. BADLY, that would require the complete replacing of the entire house and so would not be feasible.

Awesome truck.
The Australian army was supposed to buy heaps, but they reneged on the deal at the last minute apparently. They hand-crafted in Western Australia. I would love to travel around Australia in one. They can go almost anywhere. Good truck for an apocalypse that’s for sure!

With the drought in the Midwest to far west governments have cut water deliveries to farmers so many farmers have just plowed their crops under. It wasn't economical to even harvest the little bit they had. 2023 is when prices will reflect at grocery stores. Because there is so little feed ranchers are reducing theor herds and it will take years, possibly a decade, for them to rebuild those herds.

Lula stole the election and on the very next day, they already started setting food distribution centers on fire

Didn't something similar happen in the US? Several fires in food processing companies?
