Not my story but happened a few hours south of us..
A local landowner was out on his property close to the mountains with his family to cut a Christmas tree , they had been in the... area about 45 minutes with a chainsaw and the kids having fun and being noisy as kids will be when he looked over and there was this big tom trotting toward his daughter who was about 15 feet from her mom....the cat showed little sign of even being concerned with the father yelling and running toward his daughter...it stopped but just stared at them before slowly walking off......timing was perfect and 3 hrs later we caught him.....makes one wake up a bit when you hear this as a cat in prime condition should not be acting like that...!!!
