I accept the need to gradually wean ourselves off of fossil fuels. But it has to be done in stages not all at once.

And the means of consumption should be hybridized. It'll take another generation or 2 before we get there...at least.

Ford recently had to recall just about every hybrid model they made in the last decade or so because the batteries can start fires. GM has the same issue.
