EDIT: Besides which is this: As explained, the phenomenon of "code-switching" involves adjusting from one's own natural speaking style to a formal speaking style in situations outside the home. Like when a kid who grows up in a Cantonese-speaking home switches to English at school. Or when a kid in a black household switches from Ebonics to English... at school or at work.
What Harris is doing isn't "code-switching." It's pure pandering, which is why people who aren't kissing her feet (like you) perceive it for what it really is.
