This is a piss poor attitude to have as a volunteer.

When a person volunteers, they are accepting a responsibility and agreeing to perform in the role at the best of their ability.

When someone like @Alticus is not a good fit for the position, he should recognize his deficiency and do the right thing and Step Down. If he does not do the right thing and Step Down, then others in positions of authority should do the right thing and inform him that his services are no longer required.

I volunteer for several important organizations that benefit from my expertise.

Babysitting a bunch of social outcasts on an obscure Internet Message Board would be a waste of my valuable time.

I have one room (a converted bedroom) that we call my Man Cave.

I also have one room (a converted bedroom) that is my office.

I also have a large area in my basement that I use for music with a full drum kit and about 6 guitar amps and 7 or 8 guitars, mic stands, etc..

Near that I have an arcade quality foosball table.

In my basement there is also a large TV with surround sound and a large subwoofer that is perfect for Movie Nights and watching sporting events with company.

I also have workshop in the basement.

And a sauna.

And a washroom with a shower.

I also have an entire room to store my sports equipment on our main floor.

I also have a workbench in the garage under my 4-post lift.
