I think the hardest part about being Christian is loving your enemy....

That American Pastor Joyce Meyers forgiving her sexual abusing father, I could never do that nor would I expect other men or woman to forgive their sexual abuser either.

According to that Christian law I must forgive paedophiles....uh uh.... never going to happen... now or ever.

You pray for justice against those out there destroying children. Righteous anger is okay.

Joyce Meyers isnt someone I'd ever listen to. She teaches a lot of strange false things, and women are not supposed to be pastors *duck*

It is HARD to find solid biblical teaching from women. You got your Paula Whites (who said "anyone who tells you to deny yourself is from satan"..... umm....Jesus told us to deny ourselves), your Hiedi Bakers .....and your "transformed wife"(who supports marital rape) and they all teach unbiblical bizzare things.

Like how the Holy Spirit is "sneaky" and "silly" and like the...and i quote....blue genie from Aladin. So irreverent. That was Baker.

I listen more to pastors like Paul Washer, Voddie Bachmen, Jeff Durbin(my church is tight with his church).....my own Pastor and trusted friends in my church community.

And yeah you HAVE to forgive all who sin against you and yourself. That doesnt mean you have to be a doormat and allow toxic people into your life. Some people think forgiving means being a doormat. Like you have to do more than just simply forgive and keep yourself open to the same mistreatment.....you dont.

Is monster still crying his eyes out as his leaky asshole clams itself shut while a tijuana hooker tries to suck some life into his dead dick?

Afterwards maybe he can watch a movie with a 12 year old Natalie Portman and whack off again like he did back at TV?

I dont know. We may be heading into the "my studying was better than your studying so I know more than you" part of the exchange and if it is, I'll probably bail the convo lol.

If someone doesnt believe or doesnt want to believe they dont really have to defend why or try to prove anything. I've had enough exchanges with hostile people who say they've read it many times, know it "better than every Christian", they dont believe BECAUSE they've read it.....but then they say things that prove they havent.

Things like "Well Adam and Eve only had 3 sons how does that work"? Or "talking snakes" and other things like that.

Not saying I'm expecting that here. Just giving an example of some exchanges I've had with nonbelievers who know the bible way better than me.

I never took a uni class on it and I probably certainly wouldnt. I was but a lowly recovering smack head who REALLY wanted to know God. So I dove in for years.

That's the beauty of it. You dont have to listen to another person.. you can just dig in yourself. Ask trusted people questions. People that WANT to know and are seeking genuinely will.
YOu don't need a uni class to read and understand the bible. That's for low IQ idiots who need someone to puree the thoughts into easy to assimilate terms and tell them they did well afterwards because they lack the ambition and intelligence to do it on their own.

So, lemme get this straight, Biggies... my own religious or spiritual experiences are invalid because they led me to seek a deeper understanding of their context through formal religious studies? Is that what you're suggesting?

I reject this whole heartedly. We should still execute degenerates. I'd lop the head off a child molester in front of Jesus, no problemo.

I popped into the end of this thread (something like 3 pages since I posted here) to see what was new.

It is reassuring to see that Blurt has comprehension issues with other people. He seems to read so far into statements that he starts to imagine things that were never said.

When the day comes that we find ourselves in front of Jesus, we are either dead or the world as we know it is done.

I dont think any of us will even be standing. Every knee will bow :D

Those committing brutalities against children will be much worse off than being decapitated, that's for sure. We wont see them or ever have to think of them ever again.

If we in our sinful state find that depravity against children rage inducing.....imagine how God feels. And He restrains His wrath.

You be angry and get done with it. You can forgive and have lingering anger.

The bible says to be angry and get over it quick lest you give evil a foothold.

but if theres still anger, is there really any forgiveness?

i think the closest we can get is sincerely wishing we could love our enemies. even if we fail at it we still get credit

I do this with all negative emotions or thoughts.

This is why I will call people a fuckin' asshole or a fuckin idiot immediately; I do not let any negative thoughts ferment.

It is something misunderstood in Flametown as a lot of people will see it as some sort of victory (when they get called a fuckin' retard or whatever...."Melty").

It is why I am such a pleasant person 99.99% of the time. But idiots tend to dislike my honest approach.

I've definately been much slower to anger than I used to be. But when I get there it's difficult to NOT sin in anger. It's a process for me for sure.

We cant control our emotions but we dont have to BE controlled by our emotions. Leading with your mind while acknowledging your emotions is a discipline. Some are very good at this naturally.

I am much....MUCH better than I was in my BC(before Christ) life. My mouth can be horrible, and my husband will actually correct me and oh man. In THOSE moments I HAVE to be still. Because my instinct is to cuss at him for correcting me like I'm a child. Its infuriating. And that's the flesh. Ill bite my lip and sit there looking like I just busted my toe on something until it passes and he helps me out by softening and making a joke because he knows I'm fighting the urge to go off like Cartmen in South Park lol. I've gone right into praying out loud over it.

If I have to run off praying I will do it and people will leave me alone for a bit lol

Well that's debatable Blurt .....but he wasnt saying anything about your experiences being "invalid".

He definately took a shot at you, not denying that. That just wasnt the shot he took.

What it is is that typically when the university card comes out its almost always a way of invalidating the knowledge of others. I'm not convinced you were doing that....we are communicating via text. So it's easy to read it or be unsure of what is being said.

I mean you are a left leaner and you done played the uni card and usually when that happens it means "well I'm the formally educated one so I know better than you".

So we respond usually by taking shots at university classes.

It's an intense climate. I know its awkward I'm intervening on an insult to clarify how you were just insulted. I'm just saying I think you took that much deeper than intended.

Do we have to be in agreement on this to validate eachother? Can I disagree with you while still validating your experiences? To me the two are separate.

This is what I mean by calling someone an idiot right away. I think "This guy is an idiot." so I say it. if I do not let them know, then it can develop into a negative emotion.

It is a little mean to call an idiot an idiot? Not really. People should be comfortable with themselves. Look at some of the (you now who) people here who seem to not realize they are idiots. It does them no favours.

The "you know whose" here feel perfectly entitled to harshly judge others and make accusations.... but they expect others to be all weak and apologetic or their definition of "humble".

They want to tell others about themselves and are completely wrong all of the time, but they cant stand ANY correction or scrunity.

They have no problem judging people up and down and insulting them but they get ridiculous when anyone says anything to them.

Off the charts pride and hypocrisy and no self awareness.

And then if you have professed to be a believer, they will grade you as a Christain according to how well you've tolerated their abuse or what policies you support and it's always their convoluted versions of it.

It's actually pretty ghoulish lol. Have you ever seen people so perpetually angry and so full of themselves? I havent.

I'll tell them about themselves and not be the slightest bit angry about any of it.

Christianity developed a major league problem when it quit being incensed, disgusted, and repulsed by behaviors worthy of the death penalty. Far far too many churches these days host abortionists and kweirdos in its ranks and refuse to condemn that behavior. Jesus Himself wrote about such congregations in Revelation 2. The small town where my wife is from, there is a woman at the local roller church who had an affair. This cunt booted her husband out and the church accepted her new boyfriend when they should have shunned the wife who had been attending this church for decades. I guarantee you that the reason the church allowed these two hell bound shitbags to keep going there is because he was black! "Christians" are more concerned about racism appearances than decency. Just think, all the young people learned a lesson there!

Jeez. I go to a Reformed church. There is no joke about church discipline.

People WILL get called to repentance and they will reach out and help and all that when something is going on. Divorce is not a favorable thing but there is a whole process there. You cant just divorce and prance in with a boyfriend/girlfriend. You divorce in my church you will be expected to stay single.

The only time I've seen someone flat out not respond to a call to repentance was a guy who suddenly went full blown SJW out if what seemed to be nowhere. His wife sang in the church with the worship team....and they were always so chill and cool.

And then suddenly after Floyd died this guy went balls to the wall BLM and started viciously attacking church members. And no one really knew what to do except try to respond in a loving way. Our Pastor told us NOT to fight with him and the pastor and Elder handled it. We never saw them in church again :/

It really was strange how he suddenly flipped. And literally nothing in the church was ever slightly about politics, just about scripture and Jesus and how to apply biblical principles to the events occurring today.

You know we dont really get a lot of dems/progs in our midst. This guy just broke out in full leftard outta the blue like he was possessed :LOL3:

My husband even called me up to tell me to go look because it legit all went down on FACE BOOK.

By the time someone is "shunned" there has been A LOT of intervention and prayer. And if someone just keeps resisting... they just have to go and hopefully be brought back by God eventually.

He definately took a shot at you, not denying that. That just wasnt the shot he took.

And the fact that you are having to explain this to Blurt kinda validates the shot that Joo took.
Bingo

I do have a soft spot for Blurt. As sassy as the little shit can be.
I Have no idea why you attempt honest debate with that disingenuous mentally ill fucktard. He's a passive aggressive little shit and it's quite obvious He's only here to fill some huge vacancy in his emotional health with smug remarks directed at conservatives who most certainly outsmart him in every way that matters.

In fact, he's not here to ponder on a single word you say but rather use your words as a springboard to launch his little ships hoping to collect validating sneers and jeers out of like minded pissants who also think they are intellectually superior to everyone around them

Why couldn't Levon's asshole have slammed shut when Lily's tongue was up it? Maybe that would have finally silenced her for good.

Jealous because you only have Dove and Biggie tonguing you? Greedy much?

Quick Lily, you still have time to rewrite that lousy retort and come up with something better.
She can't. Too fat and stupid

And mean. Too mean to be funny.
well, everyone wants the last word
