I would agree they were never liberal.....if you use the actual definition of liberal.
But yeah the corporate medias whole thing is that they are objective and non bias and the extremists are everyone else. Only "right wing nutjobs" call CNN heavily bias.
Sure technically they were never liberal. They HAVE been a mouthpiece for the establishment though and they pump pro big government narratives.
This is being said on a pro establishment show so....the only people watching this shit already believe that and support these people. They are sealing up any cracks in their narratives and casting any attempts to make CNN more balanced as some agenda take over of the enemy.
And their viewers will believe this. Maybe go commit some more vehicular homicide of young people they deem "Republican extremists".
Funny how it's been flipped and now what is actually extremist is pushed as the norm and the norm is labeled extremist. Like how Admin now thinks the Christain position that we are damned without Jesus is "extremist". There are people on the dem/prog end who openly say the constitution is extremist and should be redone.

This is a good article about how they function and gaslight and use anything no matter how small or unhinged to remove our rights and attack and demonize opposition. There are a few examples in it.

Despite this bloated language, “constitutional sheriffs” number, at most, a few hundred. As a practical matter, there’s little they can do against state and federal power.
Behind the absurdity, though, there lurks a purpose, which appears deep in the text of the article:
“To protect communities from abusive policing and our democracy from extremists within law enforcement, we must push back on assertions by sheriffs that they are above the law. That may mean changing state laws so that sheriffs are appointed rather than elected, because appointed officials can be more quickly removed for extremist behavior, and the electoral process has not been effective at holding sheriffs accountable.” (Italics added.)
In other words, because a tiny splinter group expounds an erroneous legal theory, we should carry out political purges and deprive 300 million Americans of their right to elect their local sheriffs! And this in the name of protecting “our democracy.” I pointed out in an , “our democracy,” in the language of the left, often means “their oligarchy.” When elections are inconvenient for their oligarchy, some seek to abolish elections"
They also address the left wing hysteria about "right wing violence" that hardly ever fucking happens while left wing mobs have been commiting acts of deadly violence for decades.
