@Joe Fuck you, you old fuck. I spent my Saturday playing baseball with mainly 20 and 30 year olds. And I am better than almost all of them. I will smack the dumb look off your face when I am in Vancouver if you ever man-up and agree to a fist fight.

@Joe You pussy.

Well @The Prowler at least you guys chose a 4 star+ hotel

Don’t leave your bags wallets or cameras lying around outside on the table

Theres a lotta theft due to drug addiction in that area

Be careful when you cross pan pacific way people have died when careless busdrivers ran over them

Id recommend you avoid dt tim hortons or starbucks

Somebody was stabbed to death by a sikh after he was asked to quit smoking. That was at Starbucks Granville and pender. Some guy was also stabbed inside a tim hortons. The poor guy who died was an out of town vistor. Sadly he was just trying to avoid the fumes to protect his children

I dont go into the city centre much anymore because of safety concerns

It’s actually worth it to pay more at a better restaurant just to stay safe

Those cheap joints attract homeless and potentially dangerous people

You should be safe inside the hotel because they have 24 hr security

@Joe That is pretty pathetic that you live in constant fear in your own city.

@Joe Too bad you are so tied-down to living in such a shithole city. That is a real piss-poor life you are living.

@Joe Did you see the video I posted?
I don’t live in that part of the city @The Prowler

However the growing pains are apparent. Im not denying it. And the price of real estate is outrageous like it is in Australia where @Breakfall lives. Mostly China that hoards the land & drives up the prices in both Australia and Canada. So little value for the money eh.

Canada and Australia both have some of the largest land masses & low population density and yet our home prices are going thru the roof. What gives eh?

I’d rather continue to be a renter in Vancouver and buy land outside the city. Then just go somewhere else on the weekends. And if it continues to slide downhill just move out. That’s what I’ll probably do. Recreational land is actually cheaper in BC in some parts than Ontario which is quite expensive where you live since you got 3x the population hence more demand. I notified Southern Ontario isnt cheap

Vancouver has become this gay drug addicted city. And since im neither I become less attached to the city

It was better 20 30 years ago

If they’re not careful Vancouver could become like Portland soon

The problem with Australia is that the vast majority is inhospitable and arid…one would have to be aborigine to survive. Therein lies the irony.

@Joe Then why do you live in that shithole city?

@Joe I would never stay in the situation you are in. @Joe If I wanted land outside the city, I would buy it.

@Joe What is stopping you from getting on with it immediately?

People think we have a lot of land in Canada, which we do, but it is undeveloped and much of it has harsh weather too.

We get too many immigrants and the liberals out there say "You have so much room!" but almost every immigrant flocks to the large cities, where we do not have extra room.

Yeah….we hear it all the time too, particularly when it comes to accommodating the refugees or SE Asians. And do they settle in the smaller developing town—oh hell no, it’s the congested cities or bust.

Well a stay at one of the top hotels would do you good. Thats where all the top 1%ers stay when theyre in town

So i enjoy the thought how jealous you’ll get when you realize how small town and out of place youll be @The Prowler

Oh and btw theres no camaros or corvettes owned by the hotel. Just white mercedes.

“But i own a camaro” Lol!

You’ll be so green with envy being the jealous man that you are

So vancouver is full of thieving crackheads
Be careful when you cross pan pacific way people have died when careless busdrivers ran over them
The city hires people who can't fucking drive(probably diversity hires)

Can't get a coffee without getting stabbed
I dont go into the city centre much anymore because of safety concerns
Unsafe as fuck to go downtown likely for the same reason you don't go into a fucking tim hortons
Canada and Australia both have some of the largest land masses & low population density and yet our home prices are going thru the roof. What gives eh?
And yet, you don't see the same spikes in prices in places like Alberta and Saskatchewan and the further outskirts of BC(BC overall is still expensive). Do you really want to know why? because cities that have had oil booms have figured out years ago how to streamline housing regulations and building. The only city that has seen any strain on housing is Calgary, only because of Ontario and vancouver refugees fleeing there to buy cheap housing. real estate investors have tried the same pimp and dump shit in Calgary, but as soon as they buy up the properties, every 1 they buy, 2 replacements were already being built and built in less than a year. Seriously, the city I'm in had a Canadian tire built in less than a year. I'm talking about the entire process from land purchased, permits, building, and open for business. If that same building was proposed in a lot of these cities in southern Ontario, they would still be fighting with the town for their bible-stack worth of permits and the dozen of bureaucrats to sign off on each one. So it makes it extremely easy for these real estate investors to buy up these properties and skyrocket the prices on them because the replacements are redtaped in a multi-year clusterfuck. now interest rates are up and buying up properties on the cheap means they have to pay 5x the interest on those properties, that has slowed them down greatly.
But Toronto and vancouver love their red tape and regulations, so now they pay 3000$ per month for a broom closet while a crackhead uses their lobby as a public toilet, while i pay less than 800$ per month for a 2 bedroom apartment in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Funny how that works, eh?

Meanwhile, Senile @Joe feels trapped in a city that he hates.

It is weird how people like Senile @Joe do not take steps to get away from shithole cities. What is holding him back? It is not a good job. It is not family. It is not friends.

Tick Tock Tick Tock

Time keeps passing and Senile @Joe keeps living in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment in a shithole city.

now why would prowler "seethe and envy" living in a city where you pay astronomical housing costs just for a junkie to use him as a pincushion just for trying to get a cup of tim hortons? what are some of the actual GOOD things about vancouver?

Or put it more simply…. @The Prowler has a chip on his shoulder & a massive inferiority complex

He cant accept himself for who he is so he lashes on that which he cannot attain.

Oh well maybe in the next life!

@Joe Yeah, being semi-retired at the age of 40 and fully retired and independently wealthy at the age of 55 has given me a "massive inferiority complex".

@Joe Owning my house, my Jeep Grand Cherokee, my Camaro Z28, my C8 Corvette, my camping trailer, my Epiphone, my Fender, my two Gretches, my 4 other guitars, my seven guitar amps, my PA system, my Pearl drum kit, my woodworking shop, my games room, etc. etc. has given me a "massive inferiority complex".

@Joe Playing hockey and baseball and basketball and disc golf, belonging to a very active camping group, being an active volunteer, being a member of three different musical acts, having hobbies from cycling to photography to gaming to drone piloting to hiking to flaming fucktards has given me a "massive inferiority complex".

@Joe Wake up, you fuckin' retard. I come here to have a little fun and pick on the biggest douchebag on the board. It is not any more complicated than that.
