In 2024, and I never told anyone here this before, I was up late in the game with the tying runner on 3rd and the go ahead on 2nd....and I K'ed. I think it was my second swing and miss of the entire season.

My wife, kinda jokingly, says "You choked."

But I did not. I got beat by a (relatively) great pitch.

And I was having an MVP level game up until that point. Made some (relatively) great plays at 3rd base. Had two hits and a walk....already crossed the plate once or twice...

Oh well.

I did bat .700 in the playoffs and had a .800 on-base-percentage.
