Hello. It's me, Flynn. I interrupted regularly scheduled programming for The Weed Report. I, at one time had a Weekly Weed Report here, but you know...life. Anyhoo, I think I'm going to start this topic up again.
For those who do not know me, I live in Washington State, perhaps the most Liberal state in the nation. With mainly Democrats at the helm, us Washingtonian's are afforded some perks. One of those is the passing of Initiative 502, the legalization of Marijuana on a retail level. Gone are the days of getting weed from strangers in creepy back alleys. Also, no need to meet weirdos off Craigslist. Yep, now it's like buying groceries. Hell, there's a pot shop on every single block in Seattle, you can't throw a rock in Washington without hitting a Starbucks, Teriyaki shop, and Weed Stores.
Now the recreational user has soo many options. There are 1/8ths that go for $8 and $18 ounces, so whatever your budget, there's something for everyone. With that being said, here is my latest goodie pick up.
The flower is from a company called, "Lifted." Lifted is a local company that has been around since the early 2000's. Lifted has The Signature Line, The Luxury Line, and The Small Batch Line. I got the Designer Runtz. It's an Indica leaning hybrid. It smells of fruity melodies, with a strong Kush vibe. As far as looks go, it's better than most, but isn't going to win any awards. The smoke is the real star of the show. It tastes like butterscotch and Red Vines, and towards the end there are earthy tones that gently caress the taste buds as it gently melts away. The high is spectacular. At first you slowly feel it behind your eyes, as the cotton mouth kicks in. 15 minutes later the couch lock takes effect, and then 30 minutes later munchies show up. This is fantastic herb. It hits the same, and after 23 buys of this product it's consistent, which is unheard of. These are top shelf buds that are dark green and sticky. The tri-combs make it look like the bud was dipped in glass dust. Held up the the light, the colas sparkle like Christmas trees on Christmas. I would recommend this brand and this strain for newcomers and veterans alike. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Lifted is not a cheap brand.
3.5 grams costs $89.00
7 grams costs $170.00
14 grams costs $300.00
28 grams costs $550.00
Not very cheap, but well worth it.
Next, I purchased a vape cart. The brand is Plaid Jacket another high end brand. The strain is called, "Power," another Indica leaning hybrid. The vape cart is Live Resin with Melted Diamonds and added Terpenes, which make for a great and heavy smoke. The oil is very clear, which a good sign of quality. The first hit tastes tastes of floral notes along with a glimmer of a Kush taste. The high is instantaneous. It starts with the body tingling, and after that for 25 minutes you cannot move. Again,I would recommend this cart, but only if you have a good quality vape battery.
Prices start at $82.00 for a one gram vape cartridge.
