When I first started working the doors it was great, you were even allowed to drink, but then the rules tightened up and things became a lot stricter.

It was almost like going on a night out and getting paid for it. If Trance and Hard House were being played it was a massive bonus because I love that kind of music and half the time we'd almost be as wrecked as the clubbers were chewing their faces off on e's. Then there was the lucrative side earner of catching randomers in there who were dealing without permission and needless to say the confiscated merchandise was usually split evenly among us, depending of course who I was working with.

It's all different now though and I suspect with all this covid passport bollocks the government is trying to implement, working on the doors of clubs and bars will just be one big headache.
