It's completely insane. And people like @Reggie_Essent, instead of having concern about the state of Democracy under Trump, attack me for pointing out the stuff he's doing on a stupid message board. The fact that these people are not worried terrifies me more than anything.

It's very frustrating. I had some fun dumping on the disney CSR while I was cancelling my scrip. My understanding was over half a million have cancelled in the last 48 hours.
Thats about 35% of his viewership so far that has disney.

No, actually it's not and hasn't been for a very long time.
Both republican and democrat led administrations have sold us out to wall street, big business, and the MIC. Both parties have eroded rights and liberties while advancing the implementation of a police/surveillance state. Both parties have played the game of empire and caused the deaths of millions around the planet.
The creeping authoritarianism and psychopathy have just reached a point where they're impossible to disguise anymore but that doesn't mean they haven't been encroaching for decades.
We don't even have a democracy (or representative republic if you prefer), if we ever did. Call it an oligarchy, or a plutocracy, or even a kleptocracy. Those are much better labels for the system of governance "enjoyed" by the USA.
