UK RECOGNIZES LOBSTERS, OCTOPUSES, AND CRABS AS SENTIENT BEINGS

@SHAMPAIN

How is a fence and gate trap barbaric or inhumane? Have you ever even seen one or know how they work? There is absolutely nothing barbaric about them. I suggest you learn a bit more before you make statements which are clearly untrue.

I like meat, but I do agree that these animals should be treated humanely in their life right up to their death. We've gotten better at this, but I'm sure there's still room for improvement. There are laws on the books regulating this industry, but you can't always count on big business doing the right thing when nobody is looking. They hire low wage immigrants who won't speak up, and will simply do as they're told.

The inspectors need to slap the bad players hard with fines and shutdowns.
Agreed. In America, its highly regulated, yet we still have some bad players. When they're caught, they're shut down. IMO, the best pork comes from a pig raised with the ability to run and not kept in a tiny pen. The ones kept in a pen have shit flavored meat.
In a pen? they're fucking cramped in metal walls and they all try to escape absolutely terrified because they smell the blood and hear the screams of other pigs, cows etc... You're saying that makes me a libtard for hating this, shows your mental...
Too bad cunt. I've personally butchered hogs before. We'd put about 5 or 6 of them in a truck bed with a divided stake bed that had a gate. My uncle would let one through the gate to the other half and would shoot it through the top of the head with a .22 rifle. It would drop instantly and flail its legs. Then he'd hang its head off the bed after taking a set of stakes out, put a 5gal bucket under the head, and stick it in the neck with a sharp knife. It usually looked about like water from a garden hose. Then the hog got rolled off onto the table where we'd soak it in hot water and scrape the hair. All the other pigs watched the whole thing.

Now go have yourself a nice cry, pussy.
Would you do that to a dog "hard man"??

He said hog not dog. Yes, it is very com.on to shoot or trap wild hogs in the US as they are a highly destructive non-native species which breeds extremely quickly.
Yeah but he seemed proud about it and the slaughter of it... I'm not having a go at the practice of hunting but he comes across like sadist...
You're a stupid fuck. Proud about it? Most of you soft cunts never had to kill for what you eat and its made you softer than baby shit.
So you're saying that you're that poor you have to hunt for food? lolol what a fail...
I grew up poor, ya fuktard. As a family, we would go to the family farm in Missouri and butcher hogs every year and eat for a year off the meat, then repeat the following November. Now, I only kill animals that are pests. The cows we eat from my father in laws farm are butchered at a local processor. If my father in law asked me, you bet your ass I'd shoot a cow in the head and butcher it. I learned how to do this work by the time I was 13.
Look mate, I've no problem with killing animals for food especially through hunting as at least they're not crammed in a pen their whole lives, you just seemed to revel in gross parts...

Thats your conclusion. I've never advocated or celebrated animal cruelty. In this country, the butchering of food animals has been continually improved through regulation for many decades now. The processing plant in Beardstown IL is visited constantly by the feds and has been since the 80's. Back then, illegals worked the floors and it was notoriously dangerous with people losing body parts and becoming maimed. The conditions for the animals were also gruesome. Now, they cant even sub contract the cleaning to private companies that use illegals without getting busted. These places are under constant scrutiny.

Yeah man, to be fair a bullet to the dome or through the heart (like you have to in deer etc) is much more humane than some farms and abatoirs, at least in wild hunting the animals have had a better life... I was only being over dramatic when I said you' liked cruelty fren.

I'm of 2 minds about this. On the one hand, I don't like a NANNY GOOBERMINT making a bunch of woke rules about shit like this, when it's a personal decision and people like @SHAMPAIN and @Aryan (if they can ever afford to go out for a lobster dinner) should be able to decide for themselves what kind of joint to patronize. EVEN IF they wanna boil the poor crustaceans alive, I'd rather let them do it and feel smug and superior, rather than see them knuckle under to a government decree.

Besides, we humanoids did claw our way to the top of the food chain for a reason.

On the other hand, I have to wonder if any of those bureaucrats and MPs have ever toured a hog slaughterhouse, or watched calves being bled out to make that nice white VEAL they like so much. I'm pretty sure THOSE critters are "sentient" too. They sure act that way.

Ugh, you DROWN THEM FIRST. You put them salt water animals in FRESH water and they painlessly drown and die, THEN you boil or steam them...... I come from Rock Lobster fishermen, (dads side).

I've never cooked one but that's what I've always been told.

when you cook shellfish you need a great big container of ice water so when they are JUST COOKED, you have to plunge them into ice water to stop the cooking process.

No, thanks. I'd rather steam them but if you are overly concerned a knife between the lobsters eyes will also instantly kill it. Hell, even tossing it into boiling water kills it in a few seconds. We are talking 2-4.

drowing shellfish in fresh water is the only way to kill them humanely .
thowing those animals in hot water is DANGEROUS because they splash about and scold you.....

So what do other living primates eat, the ones with guts mostly like ours, eat? The diets of nearly all monkeys and apes (except the leaf-eaters) are composed of fruits, nuts, leaves, insects, and sometimes the odd snack of a bird or a lizard (see

). Most primates have the capacity for eating sugary fruit, the capacity for eating leaves and the capacity for eating meat. But meat is a rare treat, if eaten at all. Sure, chimpanzees sometimes kill and devour a baby monkey, but the proportion of the diet of the average chimpanzee composed of meat is small. And chimps eat more mammal meat than any of the other apes or any of the monkeys. The majority of the food consumed by primates today--and every indication is for the last thirty million years--is vegetable, not animal.

Tell you what. YOu go have yourself an inspect pie. Wash it down with some bird piss if you like. And I'll sit here an enjoy this wonderful juicy ribeye cooked to perfection

with some clams boiled in butter and white whine and maybe some Jumbo shrimp who's painful deaths I don't give the slightest fuck about

No doubt it shows all over Stubby.

Your ankles are too low to bite Stubby. Doesn’t your appearance bother you. I mean such a loud mouth little fuck

fun fact guise

Seapedo is about 7 inches taller than your average sink vanity

this fact has been proven by several of us already

You idiot. Maybe you’re forgetting the build them high here. You know as well as most you’re a short sedentary dude with cock always on your mind.

The average height for Costa Rican males is between 5' 3" and 5' 8" and women are 5' 3" or lower

but they build their sink vanities "high" because, you know, it makes since to force people to wash their faces on their tipeetoes in that part of the world :LOL3::LOL3::LOL3::LOL3:

notice how pedomajor didn't deny he's a mere 5 to 6 inches taller than a standard vanity :LOL3:
