Trump has been whining about a 250% Tariff Canada has one American Dairy Products. And that is true, but under the terms of of that tariff agreement the otherwise relative free trade of dairy products going into Canada has never even come close close to the agreed volume threshold, so that whined about by Trump 250% tariff is all but meaningless.

I fully approve of Canada not buying American Products, I encourage it. Somebody needs to start saying no to this mob mentality of buy here pay here used car dealers.

I look just in my city and I see the manufacturing that has left since I was a kid: Dominion Tire (Uniroyal), BF Goodrich, Domtar, Labatt's, Seagram, Budd Automotive, Leer Corporation, Schneiders, and a bunch of others that were more local that you probably have never heard of like Robson Lang, Kitchener hockey sticks, etc. etc.

Sure, we have some new manufacturing around here like Toyota, but it has gone way down. You just have to look in almost any store to see a bunch of cheap Made in China crap.

Instead of looking for new trade routes, our government should be looking at building our capacity to process and use our own raw materials.
