She survived the fall. I think it was explained that the woman didn't help because it would somehow degrade the dignity of the servant. If true, imagine a culture where breaking every bone in your body means you don't have to kill yourself out of shame. I'm equally puzzled by how she got out there and into that predicament.

Yeah other countries have a caste sytem. I am looking at a job in the UE and I would be servant class.(3rd to last) I would be dropped for sure.
