Holy fuck! It's non-stop. Everyday it's jack before anything else.

I grew up with the OG Star Trek and rather enjoyed TNG (got a lot of them on VHS) but I haven't seen the spin-offs... I don't 'do' streaming services and can't abide commercial television stations.

There are lots of commercials on streaming services now too. It's no different than traditional broadcast tv unless you pay for "'premium" service.

Honestly, if anyone says someone is "owned by jack," then they are seriously deluded.
The many threads about jack are not "trophy threads" contrary to popular belief. What they are is sneak peek into how other members here feel about him. Notice, it's never about what he did to anyone, the general consensus states that jack:
-Lies
-Makes disturbing A. I. "good girl art"
-Is a proven sycophant
-Brags about how close him and BF are
-Reps disparaging comments to his rivals
-Spams
-Deflects
-Hides like a thief in the night
Usually a "trophy thread" consists of bitching about someone and how they doxxed, lied, cheated, spread rumors, posted pm's...etc...it is normally about old news. It very rarely is about 3 different people who have posts up about a massive grudge for past actions in general. Generally a trophy thread entails humorous or witty actions by the trophy threadee. It's never about weird behaviors or deviant behavior. That is usually second or third, number one most of the time is how that particular member made another poster look stupid.
Jack has done nothing to equate any kind of "trophy thread." The closest jack can say he got to a trophy thread are threads that name him and why he's soo disliked on the forums. Now I've peeled back another layer of the forum dynamics. Let me touch on this subject for a minute. To be "disliked" on a forum is pretty tough, especially when the people who dislike a person on a forum they post at. Now, let me be clear. I can dislike Freud for being a moron. But as far as making a thread dedicated to his silliness, it isn't worth my time. Just because I think Freud can be annoying at times will not change how I treat him while gabbing on a variety of topics. Jack on the other hand for most people is kill on sight. Posters will have their quarrels, arguments and disagreements. Then everything goes back to normal within a few weeks. There are many examples of this. Just look. Jack has been able to tap into something primal with some posters here. While I admire someone who can get under the skin of people, but this is something else entirely. Jack is truly disliked, almost to a point where he can't even post here without getting hammered on. There's a mega difference between being disliked, and despised.
The thing that validates my findings is that people who dislike each other will drop everything, including arguing with each other, just to slam jack. Anytime you have frenemies joining forces to attack one person, you should probably take a closer look as to why.

Good observation, Garraty.
X is the catalyst in this. While I have no opinion on this one way or another, I do see that X has become a beacon that others follow. I'll never tell anyone how or what to post, and if this is how X wants to spend his time, who am I to tell him what to do? X's actions seems to create traffic and a buoyancy that is much needed around these parts. X has some humorous posts and retorts.
