In the beginning, the whole thing with the tunnels seemed really promising, but nothing ever materialized

It's obvious that at some point, something big was going on there, but my guess is that whatever treasure was there, it's gone by now

If the freemasons and prior iterations of them managed to bury and booby trap a vast fortune and cultural wealth (ie manuscripts and artifacts from the bible), and were able to stave off any meaningful discovery for centuries, what dangers could be buried there?

Maybe the Ark of the Covenant should never be found... an ancient relic that could have been an extraterrestrial device (very deadly in the wrong hands). Sometimes I wonder if the crew reports on the gold and silver count in water testing but refuse to report on other tests like radiation, et cetera... because the freemasons never left. I was so down with that show when it first came out. Of course, in the later seasons it got too big and they even started going overseas for stuff. Didn't care much for that. Marty reminds me of Dustin Hoffman. lol

Strange new, mostly unexplained things seem to be going on in the skies and new things are being revealed that we never knew were there. If memory serves, the Euphrates river is drying up revealing stuff we've never seen before. Jesus prophesied about the strange things in the sky going on in the last days. We could be closer to the end than we think. It does depend on your personal beliefs though.

Rewrites on rewrites on multiple rewrites but just have faith and trust the science for the next rewrite (if your current one suddenly becomes distasteful).... but only if the new rewrite has a clear leader or figurehead.

I reckon it's all fan fiction from a species that have been raised to forget origin.
