. I've been rewatching Midsomer Murders in between episodes of Great Canal Journeys and yesterday was The Axeman Cometh (season 10, Episode 4), which is a fun one I've seen a couple of times. Well one of the murders happens when the lead singer of the Axeman's band (Hired Gun) gets electrocuted on stage. SPOILER ALERT!: It wasn't an accident. Anyway, this time at the end instead of quickly moving on I watch the credits as they roll and I see that character, Mimi Clifton is played by none other than Suzi Quatro who I did not recognize at all, only remembering her as a cute as a button leather clad front woman from the early 70s. I had her first 2 albums and just today had a listen to one of the songs off the first that I recalled the name of (48 Crash).....pure shit, but she was so adorable at the time people listened anyway.
I watch those types of docs too.I've been watching mostly serial killer documentaries.

If you like fictionalized versions of the topic, Netflix has Monsters: The Ed Gein Story. It's bizarre with a good script and actors.

One can definitely draw a line from there to here in many areas of the bullshit that is going on. The Tea Party did not spring from nowhere.I had a blazing row with someone over an article I was writing saying the roots of MAGA was not the Tea party but the Vietnam war. I stand by that. It had as its dynamic class based anger at the elites.
