Why is it the GOP that is keeping the impeachment discussion alive?

Obummer never cared about 'Muricans which should have been obvious to all when he let CitiGroup choose his first cabinet for him. After that the "Affordable Care Act" (during negotiations the first element to fall off the table was a public option... the very thing he promised during his campaign) as well as his reactions to events like Occupy Wall Street and the Standing Rock protest weren't surprising at all.

Yes, 99.75% of American politicians are in it for themselves, including Obama.

I know that Admin. The problem is that it still didn't cover all Americans, and it's a patchwork system...with lots of gaps.

It's mediocre at best. There should be a Medicare for all option for Americans. And the wealthy can do what the fuck they already do, pay fee for service to doctors of their choosing.

Obamacare is a boon for everyone but the average American...physicians, hospitals, and insurers.
He had a very hostile gop to contend with, a GOP that has been attempting to destroy what improvements were made in the ACA ever since.

Yes, he did, more hostile than ever. I remember McConnell's first gathering with the GOP. However, he and the Democrats should have gone all the way. They didn't because they care more about their seats than the American people.

We know what the GOP is going to do, why don't the Democrats pass the legislation on their own?
