I'm not crazy about Aloo min nee uhm...but it is where the language comes from, so I tend to keep it to myself.

How do you pronounce "phenomenon"?

Yanks say it aloominum. Phenomenon is said here how it looks, yanks say it phenamenun

I watched it and showed it to my partner afterward. We laughed together. It makes no sense, but it's how we do it here.
It's not that different here really, there's this politician whose name is quite clearly spelt menzies, yet we're expected to pronounce it ming? :Crazy::LOL3:

Hardest word for us in the English language has to be "Worcestershire" we butcher the crap out of that one.
LOL I've always called it WOOstersheer.

Accent on the first syllable.

I grew up about 20 minutes from Worcester in MA so.........
