The last time minimum wage was in line with the economy was 1968. It has steadily declined since. The US began outsourcing overseas because corporations could not afford to pay fair wages to the working class.

For example, making the minimum unskilled wage in the 1990s would be equal to making $56,000+ today = $26.92 per hour.

If anyone has more than a 3rd grade education, they realize the working class has been getting fucked for over 6 decades.
