I hadn't heard about that. Last I heard, MM was living in some seriously off-grid situation (a rez, maybe?) and just retired from online life for the most part. But yeah, the 'occasional sightings' fit that, too.

Right? Get me to understand vegetarians and vegans that want things that taste like meat...it will never happen.

I had a former SIL that went through crazy ideas about healthy food. Vegan, raw diet, vegetarian...and who knows what else.

She ended up sick often. My former FIL, may his soul RIP, would look at her and say: When you used to eat normally, you were never sick. She would get so aggravated.

I love that kind of thing around a family table...

IMO "vegetarian" is a dish like any other. I'm pretty healthy and eat well. Conciously. I did fads now I just eat.
