Gov shutdown about to get worse

I'm going to need a new passport within a few months, in order to continue traveling around Europe and back to the USA.

I wonder if it's going to be a problem if this shutdown persists which it appears it will indefinitely.

I know I should be more sympathetic towards the Federal workers who can't feed their kids or pay their rent but I've got vacations planned.

We've already established that I know nothing about politics and I rarely watch the news so I thought I'd ask your all opinions on the shutdown. Why is it happening? It's called the United States but I'm not seeing too much unity there.

The political party in control of all branches of government is playing stupid games, hence the stupid prizes they won last week.

I think it's ending this week, the GOP caved and so did the 10 moderate Democrat Senators.

The really interesting thing this means is that Adelita Grijalva from AZ will be sworn in and she'll sign the discharge petition to get the process moving forward on the release of the Epstein files.
