Have you heard of Henry's cat or the family Ness?
You're younger than me luv. God bless you for that. I don't have patience. Not even enough patience to wait to be born.

My kid shows were Romper Room & H.R. Pufinstuf.

But we all have our own personal peccadilloes!

Ere @MrNiceGuy are you a Brit?
Penn's woods mostly. Good ole PA, USA. Same as @Iggy McLulz , although she probably shouldn't post any PI in her bio. But that's just the overprotective dad in me talking. I did a brief stint in Florida. But family got older. So I moved back to help them out. Family is my number one priorty. Always has been. Always will be.

Whenever we visited Great Grandpa at the farm with his thick brown supermarket bag of weekly bacon, eggs, cigs, whiskey, beer, and the last 7-14 days of the local rag, he'd greet us through the door with a warning to identify ourselves. When we did and entered, we'd see him putting his ancient Winchester back under his bed, happy to see us.... but he was more happy about the daily editions...see, every flat counter or table in his home was converted to a obituary clippings/notebooks/and various type magnifying glasses war desk. He was always so giddy to outlast another person he knew....

That was his hobby... I think it started in WW1 when he was a calvary medic... We found that out after his death in the early 80's... he never spoke of it to any of his kids, nor did his wife.

My grandpa was a B17 pilot in WW2. He never saw action, so never spoke of it. The other grandfather was a POW in the Phillipines but I never met him and my grandmother who divorced him immediately after he got back, never stopped inferring about how unsuitable he was to her.........with her silence on the matter.

In reference to editions, I had a coworker dude tell me I was one of the last people he knew that... "still reads a newspaper".

This was like, seven years ago, precovid.

I'm gen X.

Fast forward and I don't read a printed newspaper now. Happy gen millenial fucks?

Look. You buy a customized latte as a routine & self reward. I bought a printed newspaper as a routine & self reward.

Same difference.

We all prop ourselves up with whatever armor we think we need to win the day.

This is not fucking new.

That sounds REEEEEALY boring
History is only boring to those who don't appreciate it.

Don't know what you got until it's gone.

Don't know what you have until it's earned.

But the hardcover book thing will be trashed by tree huggers. I.e. greta tunbergs et al.

Probably an E - edition is best.

And a subscription based late stage capitalism model that makes consumers pay for each page and/or paragraph and/or sentence.

Fun fact:
I just gave @LotusBud an orgasm to end all orgasmz.

I don't know the British programmes you posted. I know the programmes I grew up on and maybe they were British or Brritish inspired?

You're well younger than I.

You're young enough to choose to still move. Whereas I'm old enough to say I'm done moving.

I ran this idea past someone who has a degree in creative writing, they said its a shit idea and would be better suited as a think piece in a niche magazine for circle jerkers than anything anyone would spend any money on or would be found anywhere near a library
