Yes, I know. I read it. I took note of it.Novavax is not an mRNA vaccine.
. Were vaccines that were mRNA tested. Yes.
Had you asked the question you probably meant to ask (were ALL of the vaccines tested mRNA) then I would have answered "No, the Novavax was/is not.
I'm sure that is just a difference between Canuck and American English though.
"We specified a randomized target trial"There is no information on this.
So, did they give the vaccine to the guys who exercise a lot and eat well?
And the out-of-shape potato chip lovers did not get the vaccine?
Since as we have seen I don't speekie der Canuckian so good, maybe random has a different meaning in Canada than here in the USofA. Maybe you are right, it's possible in randomizing they selectively chose the people with better health habits to receive the Covid Vaccine (NOS - because the study was of Covid Vaccines) and took the ol-timers who had terminal illnesses and 6 months to live to go without.
Now, had it been a study of people who has taken the vaccine or refused it by their choice, as so many other studies showing better outcomes for the vaccinated had, and since it is the smarter, wiser people, who likely have healthier hippie-like lifestyles and aren't conservatards who were vaccinated, then...I don't know, maybe that would skew the results, but no - that isn't how the study was conducted.
PS: "Among those in the COVID-19 vaccine group, 228 330 (65.4%) received the mRNA-1273 vaccine (Moderna); 118 932 (34.1%), the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech); and 1823 (0.5%), other COVID-19 vaccine types (Novavax or unlabeled). All vaccines were 2024 to 2025 formulations."
