My wife decided to wash puppy in the bathtub today. It's winter here and we've put off giving her a wash because it gets to zero Celsius most nights and a wet puppy in a slightly heated room is still just cruel.

But she neglected to wash out and sanitize the tub after. She just left it.

I really wanted a hot bath with loads of led red light a couple of hours ago and discovered the gross tub. Had my fresh clothes on my arm, a jug of filtered water, bottle of whiskey when I walked in and went "what the fuck!!??!!".

I rinsed the thick layer of dirt and mud with the jug refilled with hot water but I refuse to sanitize the entire tub up to an acceptable level because that's going to take at least 45 minutes and it's not my mess. She did it while I was sleeping and didn't forewarn me.

I'm not angry angry.... but I am definitely irritated. Had I known beforehand, I could have fired up the jacuzzi in time.

I'm a pro at not getting angry or reacting angrily. Decades of living in mostly socialistic geared nations means I don't react or try to listen to those right beside me telling others lies about my own nation of birth and upbringing. I pick my battles and seldom respond, but if I do it's fire.... the kind of stuff that they immediately back down and move on from like "that didn't just happen? Did it!!!"...

There's so much left wing politics being spoken about and promoted at my work. But.... being that it's a woke place, anybody who says their piece with kindness, honesty, and no malice can get away with it. So I do it sometimes.... 1-3% of the time.... when it matters.

Last time I did it, a bunch of them were agreeing with themselves how racist Republicans have always been. I asked them to look up the nature of Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclaimation, how it resembled an EO, and who did it apply to and who didn't it apply to.

They were like "what WHAT? It was only blacks below the Mason Dixon Line???" And I'm like... yup! Northern held slaves had to be slaves longer than Lincoln's EO.

I "do as the Romans do"; on a trolling board, by-turns nastiness and meltdowns are de rigeur, so that's what I provide. Catch me on a non-trolling board and you'll see something else.

As an example: Before Roblox captured+destroyed Guilded, I had a server on it which I ran like a messageboard, with forums and all the adjacent bells and whistles. It was not trolling-centric, but there was a member who couldn't wrap his head around that and got himself... 'disinvited' as a result.
