NFL 2026/27

From what I've been checking around, the rumor mill is in overdrive on the Giants actively looking for a QB. Strong contenders include JJ McCarthy, Tyler Huntley, and possibly Jimmy Garoppolo.
 
Jayden Daniels is looking for specialists for his elbow injury, but scans came back showing no fractures. Marcus Mariota is the starter for Sunday, which means DC is in the front seat of the Arch Manning lottery.
 
And now several insiders are pointing in the direction that the Giants are taking a very close look at Jimmy Garropolo. He might be slapping on a Giants jersey by next Sunday if Winston shits the bed in a winnable home game against the Titans. Book it.

How bad are the Titans that the Giantards are 2.5 pt favs? 1 PM, we will find out.

Denied tv access because I shut down the tv bills, but I have the game on WFAN radio.

...but wait - Giantards still have a chance to lose this. 12-7 with 5 and a half to play. Giantards ball after Titan TD.

This is unreal - it looks like they're going to give it away.

We'll see. I picked the Eagles in the Pick 'ems, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if my BEARS win. This game will be a test of Ben Johnson's coaching prowess, and I suspect we'll see Tyson Bagent go in the game since he passed the concussion protocol thingie. Bagent would start on most teams, and Keenum is almost as old as us.

Some years back it was sort of a joke to say, before a game, "..and let hope no one gets hurt"
now there seems to be no point in even hoping.

Oh no, I wasn't hoping Keenum gets hurt. I think Johnson's just doing gamesmanship and may pull Keenum if the run game doesn't click. Bagent's a better passer.

Keenum looks completely comfortable, no rust.

Take the 3 points, don't leave them on the field.
Philly is not a scoring machine so every point you can score matters.

Quite and ending to the half - 10-7 Bears.
20-7 now still in the 3rd Q - lotta game left though.
