No, the dark parts are possibly bits of algae and part of their foot. These barnacles are known as Goose Barnacles. Trivia: the barnacle has the longest penis in the known animal world, and at full length can attain a size of over 40x their body length.Barnacles my dear! :rightON:Good feed of mussels.

Absolutely. Check this little gem. A Blue Dragon Nudibranch which predates on Blue Bottles and small Jellyfish...
It even absorbs it’s prey’s poison, which in turn makes it poisonous to other marine life.

I drew one of these back in 1994 at art college in black pen... it was for a Golden Mean project.... when I get better I'll drag out my design file and show it......
