Another innocent child, kidnapped and stabbed to death.

His name was Cash Gernon. He was a 4-year White child who was sleeping peacefully in his home next to his twin brother; when a negro broke in and kidnapped him. The negro then proceeded to stab Cash to death.

The mother of 4-year Cash Gernon whose body was found on a street their Mountain Creek neighborhood in southwest Dallas on Saturday morning, told police surveillance video captured the moment someone broke into the back door of their home and took her son.

Police arrested 18-year old Darriynn Brown (pictured right) who is charged with kidnapping and theft in the case – additional charges are pending. Residents of the neighborhood told WFAA that they often saw Brown walking through the neighborhood.

Residents expressed disbelief of the tragic incident as they showed up at a makeshift memorial for Cash. One woman said, “How can you hurt a kid? They’re just so innocent and full of life.”

Little Cash suffered multiple injuries; he leaves behind a twin brother, who according to WFAA is now in state custody.
