She should move ASAP and enjoy it while it lasts then. Its still better than Cali for the time being. The one and only thing Cali has going for it is the low humidity....but thats at the expense of a water shortage. If one lives on the Florida Coast, its as nice as Newport or Balboa.

Coronaviruses are a class of viruses and not specific diseases. It is a pretty broad class too. So, no, that doesn't mean they are the same thing but it does mean they share a broad classification among viruses. Much like mammals or reptiles also form big classes.

That both the flu and Covid 19 are in the same class of "coronaviruses" is why the CSC and WHO had to change theor PCR test half a year back or so. It literally just detected if coronaviruses were present but couldn't tell which one. That meant people with the flu tested positive.

That meant the flu cases ended up being wrongly counted as covid 19 cases. The new tests supposedly are now able to tell the difference.

I tried to explain AIDS is the advanced stage of HIV infection marked by less then 200 tcells....and that you can develope AIDs and also come out of AIDs. But its caused by HIV.

I have been in San Diego County, well off and on but mostly on, since 1980. I was born in Anaheim but my parents moved here before I even started kindergarten. It was pretty much paradise back then with lots of open space for kids to play in and explore nature and it certainly has gotten a lot more crowded. I would like to see more high density construction but channeled into the urban areas in order to provide affordable housing over the long run for young people and folks just starting out.

As for more SFHs? With a few exceptions on infill lots there just isn't the room for the vast newly built suburbs we saw built in the 1950's through early 1990's any more. I remain because I still have hope that we can fix things at least locally and at the County level plus my family, career, and property is all here. The truth is for a long time life was very good behind the Orange Curtain even if that dynamic is now breaking down.

If your family has been here for as long as you claim, then you would realize that the recession and economy has been in decline since the 1970s. I’m sure I’ve posted about my father here before.
