Boy, does this investigation have all the twists and turns of a made for Lifetime movie mystery? I've been following this case for a hot minute. Now, just a few hours ago several news outlets are reporting that the parents of Brian Laundrie could be jailed for Obstruction of Justice.

A body was found on Sunday thought to be that of Gabby Petito. Brian Laundrie has NEVER been seen since he drove the van to his home in Florida. No one has seen Brian. The question is WAS BRIAN EVER HOME? Did he ever come home as well? There's no evidence corroborating that Brian was ever "home," which is why the police NEVER questioned him. I wonder why Brian's parents were unhelpful?

Prior to Gabby going missing, there was footage of their police encounter where Gabby had assaulted Brian and the police chalked it up to her having a mental episode and declined to charge her with DV. Now, what if Gabby had assaulted Brian in the past and Brian's parents knew about this? Could Brian's mom and dad or other relatives be involved?
