I was in Portuguese class the other day. We were working in pairs and we were supposed to talk about people from other countries. The sentence my partner came up with was "The English sit around drinking beer all day in the Algarve." I burst out laughing and couldn't even talk for minutes. I was crying I laughed so hard. It's just so fucking true.
And what do you do, other than preach the Communist Manifesto in your local town center every Saturday afternoon and visit swinger clubs on a night time?

I've been to the Algarve three or four times and it looked good to me? The beaches were clean and there were coves you could go in with privacy and sand... There were hundreds of British and Irish pubs, cafe's and restaurants, some didn't look the cleanest and tbh I fished out the Portuguese ones and went there, I didn't want a dodgy gammon streak with chips I wanted the Piri-piri chicken and fish done over charcoals, delicious, I did go to a Brit one that was out the way, went because the food was cooked in front of you on a hot stone, you cook it yourself... It was alright, was called the sizzling stone I think...That's because they're on holiday Lottie, sure you get drunk clowns but it's tolerated because of the revenue they bring, a lot of Portuguese small business owners rely on the income... Britain was one of the most peaceful countries to live in before the mass immigration but that talk is for another place... In the Highlands Lottie a lot of people never lock their doors at night or any other time, peaceful AF I absolutely adore it up there... Seems a tad hypocritical to be honest. The country's economy is pretty reliant on "Limey" cash, just like Spain.
A lot of Brits don't just move to sunnier climes because of the weather, it's to escape the non-white hordes which our treacherous government keeps letting in.
