I actually agree that religious institutions should be taxed. It's the principle of the thing. Of course, Democrats don't have any such principles, so they just see taxing churches as yet another way to steal money to pay other Democrats to do do-nothing government jobs, but on principle I believe churches should pay the same taxes as the rest of us.

Birth control is allowed in the church last I heard.

I was raised RC and attended various RC schools. It was never an issue.

I'm no expert, but Vatican II might have changed some of the rules.
