Why are the majority of bodybuilders short?

Let's be honest here, if you go to a competition, you rarely see anyone 6' or over, let alone someone that's 6' + that actually wins. Why is it that the most decorated bodybuilders in the world are only 5'8"-5' 10"? Lou Ferrigno is one of the few exceptions I can think of, plus Arnold is in fact right around 6'. Is it easier for short people to gain size because of their smaller skeletal frame? Or is it simply their Napoleonic complex kicking in realizing they will never be taller so get bigger? Just curious about the noticeable trend.
