Say Rancid, I read yer rant on Microsoft. It was interesting. Do you even recommend upgrading to Windows 11?

Seems the logic is...Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows 10 this year, make everyone switch to windows 11. But it won't be around much longer if the rumors are true. Cuz as soon as they do that, they'll roll out Windows 12.

Windows 11 seems more like a caretaker type OS - so that MS finds out what works, what doesn't before they go to 12.

OK, I'll try it ona a partition, see if I like it or not. I can always delete the partition if I don't like it.

Yeah, they have something called bootcamp, and it allows the user to install Windows directly on a Mac.
