A Midsummer Night's Dream (1968 - All Star cast)

. With the weather we have had in these parts it is hard to believe we today have reached midsummer, even though it will be 90s tomorrow it barely seems we've had a true spring.
. Anyway, this gave good account of Shakespeare's tale though the 1935 version is the one to see if only one.
....the actors in their youth. Judi Dench hardly the elderly matron of James Bond fame.

Last 2 nights:
. Last night - No Country for Old Men.
Quite excellent particularly since it is a modern movie.
Had not seen it in a while. Extraordinary dialogue so I link the screenplay.

Then tonight, may have seen this ages ago, and what a wild final scene in Witness for the Prosecution (1957).
...and what a cast, including the one and only Una O'Connor world renowned for her famous introduction of..
..."Doctor Preeeetaaawrius". Also notables Ruta Lee, Elsa Lanchester, Charlie Laughton, Henry Daniell, John Williams and of course the one, the only, Marlene Dietrich. I am sworn not to divulge the shocking ending, so you will have to see it yourself.

Yellowjackets ~ I cannot get enough of this gen X 90s soccer team turned lord of the flies fast forwarding in and out of
their present day lives. I’m hooked.

The Penguin ~ Gotham villain mob masterpiece. I can’t get enough of the comic book references.

And just like that ~ if you need it to be SITC then don’t even bother. Otherwise, you’ll appreciate who they became and the fashion is outrageously fabulous.

Companion ~ it’s kinda like terminator meets HER

Sinners ~ was not expecting where it went, but I still enjoyed it.

The ugly stepsister ~ if you can handle watching a series in French with no subtitles… this is dark twist on the classic Cinderella fairytale.

Castle Impossible ~ follows the cutest couple who inherit her grandfathers chateau in France on 300+ acres and doing the rehab themselves… complete with an execution and legend of her missing fortune on the grounds…. and it has a moat!
