I don't support nor condone it. I acknowledge it as an evolutionary reality in the history of our world. And none of us were there for it so we can't change it. Like our own birth & our own death... it is inevitable.
A.I. is telling me the population of indigenous people in the western hemisphere before discovery was 60 million.
It also says 90% died from diseases introduced. And currently there are about 50 million indigenous people today.
So this tells me people died from people moving around... which people always did since they could. And the population rebounded.
Funny thing is when I ask google A.I. about successful attempts to fight off colonialism... it mentions the U.SA. because the UK was the colonial power we fought in the Revolutionary War. But somehow now we are all in bed with the colonial powers that allowed our ancestors here if only to do so to pay monies back to them before gaining our own independence. I wonder did the indigenous people who came here... were they just looking for a better life like our ancestors? Looking to not be under the thumb of others... like our ancestors? More space? Less competition? (Oh those goddamned pre capitalist thinking capitalists not even realizing). Looking to not work hard to just give it all to their ruling class? Looking for freedom of religion from religion being the law of the land? So how are we all different if we all either moved or settled? Skin tone? Not gonna cut it debate-wise. This is the nature of humanity. Not an evil racially motivated genocidal plot.
And the nations like Ethiopia that fought off colonial settlements. Are they better off today? Are they worse? Or are they just different... neither better nor worse? Neither xenophobic nor multicultural... but a product of the past that already came to pass?

If all Jews have to move from Israel because they lost their majority indigenous status from pre-1948 and all people not indigineous in our entire western hemisphere of the world have to now relocate to appease the 50 million indigenous people then so be it.
