25-30 years ago, music festival tickets were about 60-70 bucks and you could see any band you wanted... or flip them the behind middle fingers as you were walking out of their big tent start because they were suing Napster yet admitted to eating ham on hand while buying bootleg cassette tapes.
Ha! I got all you young fuckers beat. Back in my day concert tickets to big names were like 10 bucks. I remember being pissed because a "Monsters of Rock" all day fest with AC/DC, Nazareth, Cheap Trick and Heart cost $15.95.
That sounds cool, SeaSlope. Of course, you're an ancient fuck, so you remember them old hippie days. The Filmore Aud was $3. With the Dead, Lee Michael’s and the New Riders . So cool. We’d hit Lee Loue, and Edsel For Fung, our favorite waiter, for some fried rice
I can't believe how freaking expensive concert tickets are nowadays. Last summer my daughter was going to surprise me with AC/DC tickets for the show they played at Soldier Field, but they were going for like $800 fucking dollars. That's absolutely ridiculous and them old fucks can't play like they used to. I've seen the videos of their recent shows and I wouldn't pay that kind of money to see old men play old songs.Yeah I remember my friends dad talking about how expensive the 30 dollar Metallica tickets were lol
His parents were old hippies. I went to see Bob Dylan with them and went to a Further Festival with them and saw all the hippie bands.
Im still friends with their son so I have them on socail media and they have a bad case of TDS.
I saw Misfits with Danzig for like 12 bucks in Pontiac. That was a crazy night and i met Danzig.

You ate the brown acid, didn't you?

I think the thing that made The Offspring stand out is the singer's voice because you know it's him as soon as you hear him. If not for that, maybe 'Keep Em Separated' would of been their only hit.Meh, they’re like a punk back street bois
My husbands very unromantic, we're going up the pub for a few and we'll give cards
Did you say you personally know a guy who does a Tina Turner tribute? Was it the Aussie group doing the Tina Turner tribute? I know a guy who knows them personally.
Ticket Master / Live Nation are shit."Only 90.40 each" Jeezus....I remember in the 90s they were like 35 bucks lol.
I saw NIN/Bowie for 65 bucks. Metallica for 30. Type O Neg for 15 haha.
I dont think i ever paid more than 100 for concert tickets. My daughter just went to Opeth for free the other night.
The only song I wouldn’t change the station for by them is this oneI think the thing that made The Offspring stand out is the singer's voice because you know it's him as soon as you hear him. If not for that, maybe 'Keep Em Separated' would have been their only hit.
Tim Leary called. He said never trust anyone under 65.
The Greying of North America @MrNiceGuyAt least you're paying hundreds to see a 60 year old sing.
My wife wants us to pay hundreds to see Frankie Valli.
He's 91. NINETY FUCKING ONE. LET THAT SINK IN....
Dude probably cannot even rasp let alone sing. Fuck that.
I have scruples. Yaknow?!?
Let's just say my bucket list does not in any way include paying to see someone currently kicking the bucket.
The only song I wouldn’t change the station for by them is this one
