Almost everything related to wine and growing grapes is SubContracted out. Maintenance, pesticides, picking, fermenting and labeling and bottling. A few large wineries still do it themselves, but not many.

Thye laws need to get strict. Portugal has cracked down on Airbnbs in Lisbon and Porto, and they got rid of the golden visa scheme, but they haven't done enough.
