the film was fantastic. The oysters were wonderful. Just had them with lemon. we split a dozen.

Oysters are definitely an acquired taste. I almost threw up the first time I tried them.

I gave me youngest a fresh oyster on the shell when she was 3. To her credit, she chewed...swallowed... and politely declined a second one.

When I was regularly kayaking between islands, me and my mate would pry off local oysters from the rocks...but my mate had an issue with the baby clams I'd find and cook.. They're called pippies here... classed as bait.

I love all shellfish...especially free feeds.

I like to fry them up and eat them with tartar sauce and cheese in a hot dog bun
