Red meat in Australia is prohibitively expensive at the supermarkets and worse at the butcher shops, Rancid.

I spend a little while in the supermarkets most days, waiting for the weekly unsold meat specials which are only special in way that was normal a couple years ago, to go on further bigger discounts because people ignored their so called modern specials. Most times I walk out with nothing, but at the right time and right place, save hundreds of dollars.

The discounter employees know me and I only go for red meat, so they change their times and put out "free ramge" poultry and pork products first, but I'm canny and relentless. I play their supermarket games.
