You used butternut squash? I've never seen that anywhere here. I used to cook it all the tie, and I am just now realizing I've never had it here. I wnder if it exists.
 
Its butternut squash. You wash it halve it and clean it. Then you put it on a couple wood blocks so you cant slice it all the way to the bottom. Then you thin slice it and stuff the glaze between the cts. AMAZING
