I used to take a Nytol and a couple of beers to help me sleep, worked just fine too. But haven't had a beer since last thanksgiving.
But damn it, I just might go and get a six pack. We were out cutting campfire wood today and my old bones are feeling it now.

Yes I'm old, very very old and that is my real profile pic bitches.. :Excited6:

That's not good for your health. Have you tried melatonin? Meditation? Yoga? All of those things are very helpful.

I've never tried those things. Figured they were just for falling asleep.

I'm guessing you need to relax to stay asleep. Check them out. Do a relaxing yoga session on youtube. Mediate to relaxing music. Take a low-dose melatonin. Have some chamomile tea.

I might try some melatonin eventually. Its like no matter what I do, I toss and toss after 4 hours.

Do you have caffeine late in the day?

Oh, wait. You drink a lot, right? Alcohol disturbs you sleep cycle.

I have 2 cups of coffee in the morning, but no caffeine after lunch time.

I suspected the alcohol. It knocks me out lol. But I heard it messes with sleep in the middle of the night.

I dont drink as much as I was last year, just a few drinks.

It is notorious for messing with your sleep patterns.

Are you getting enough physical activity, be it just walking every gottdamm day, or swimming or kung fu fighting or whatever floats your boat?

lol

Oddly, when I was exercising regularly I did seem to sleep a lil better. I dont feel Im "inactive" though.

Here is another thing Im thinking, Lotus mentioned the alcohol, alcohol dehydrates you, and I've noticed when I stay more hydrated, I sleep better.

Maybe I just need to exercise more, and drink more water lol. Fuck, if thats all it takes to get more sleep, I'll do it.
