I had high hopes that the Persians would rise up and toss out the Jihadists who have ruled them since 1970, but they haven't, so it's looking like the Persians can't be redeemed.

I gave Trump the benefit of the doubt at first because the danger of Jihadis getting nukes is too high. This is a problem that should have been taken care of back in the 1980s. Iran has considered itself at war with the US for 47 years or so, so now it's time to end it.

At this point I'm ready to support carpet bombing the cities, taking Kharg Island with ground forces to cut off Iran's oil jugular. If the Persians don't lay down and surrender, we'll just have to kill them all and destroy everything to finally end their 47-year war against us.

You aren't mindful of the effects of bombing an entire nation indiscriminately has on the psyches of disparate groups.

Many of them or factions of them come together.

Iranians will decide what government Iran will have.

It's not up to you or me.

The nuclear alarm bell is total bullshit though. Anybody who swallows that neocon/neolib lie is a fucking idiot.

Iran's whole 2 decade plus strategy was to get to a point but not cross it except for an existential crises, while nuclear armed Israel was always breathing down their necks and giving hand jobs to US politicians.

But NOW, the US and Israel have GIVEN THEM THE EXISTENTIAL CRISES because they're getting destroyed internally...

So while I find the religion of Islam retarded.... much like many modern popular versions of Christianity, they have the right to do anything they need to defend themselves....

I don't agree. The Iranians themselves boasted they had 1100 kilos of 60% enriched uranium. That's how they opened negotiations. You don't need 60% for civil power generation, only to build weapons.
